Biography

Dastidar AG  qualified from Calcutta National Medical College, India (Calcutta University) in 2004 and then moved to the UK. I completed my postgraduate medical training in the Yorkshire Deanery. My specialist training in cardiology was undertaken in the Severn Deanery. After core cardiology training, I undertook a period of out of programme research studying the novel diagnostic role of cardiac magnetic resonance in acute coronary syndrome, culminating in the award of a PhD from University of Bristol (March 2020). I have got >100 publications in high impact journals and won multiple international and national young investigator awards
