Emily F Piven
Biography
Dr. Emily F. Piven received her clinical doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2004, her Master’s of Health Education from the Medical College of Georgia in 1980, and her baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1973. Prior to joining the faculty at UTEP, Dr. Piven practiced for 28 years in the areas of geriatrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, mental retardation, and rehabilitation, in such facilities as home health agencies, nursing homes, private and public schools, mental hospitals, and in intermediate care facilities for the retarded.Publications
