Biography

Dr C.T.J. Hulshof (1953) has been named Professor by Special Appointment of Occupational Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Amsterdam (AMC-UvA). The chair was designated on behalf of the Netherlands Society of Occupational Medicine (NVAB). As Professor by Special Appointment, Carel Hulshof will work to enhance the scientific base of occupational medicine as a profession and to translate findings from scientific research for use in day-to-day occupational health practice.
