Isaac Luginaah

Biography

Dr. Isaac Luginaah, Associate Professor and Canada Researach Chair in Health Geography, Department of Geography, University of Western Ontario, Canada.  Isaac is involved in HIV/AIDS research in Africa specifically Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria. Isaac earned his BSc. (Hons.) and Diploma in Education, from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He obtained an MSc in Computer Science and Applications from the Queens University of Belfast and a MES from York University, Toronto. He completed his Ph.D in medical geography at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, in 2001.

This study set out to assess the levels, distribution and human health risk of Pb, As, Cd, Mn and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in sediments from the Fosu Lagoon in Ghana.
