Rachel Bachner-Melman
Biography
Rachel Bachner-Melman, PhD is a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment and research of eating disorders. Her doctorate, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, focused on genetic and personality factors associated with anorexia nervosa in athletes and non-athletes. Prof. Bachner-Melman is a Senior Lecturer in the MA Clinical Psychology Program at the Ruppin Academic Center in Emek Hefer and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has published over 60 articles and book chapters and regularly speaks at conferences in Israel and abroad.Publications
