Biography

Since 1996 directly after completing my studies and obtaining the scientific degree of Master of Agriculture I have been employed in the Department of Agrotechnology at the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz, where I have been working since then. At first I worked as an assistant lecturer. In 2003 I obtained the scientific degree of a doctor of agricultural sciences in the field of agronomy and since 2004, I have been working as an assistant professor. I mainly work as a research worker and academic teacher. Within the range of scientific research I have been the leader of 4 and the participant of 6 research projects. The scientific studies I realize concern mostly the seed production of grasses and fine-grained legumes as well as the cultivation technology of other agricultural crops (cereals, corn, oilseed rape) and vegetables (carrot and onion). As an academic teacher I run classes and I am a supervisor of theses in crop production.  

Research Interest

Seed production technologies of grasses (e.g.: perennial ryegrass, timothy, red top, red fescue, tall fescue) and fine-grained legumes in the aspekt of cultivation technology, physiology and economy.
The use of humic preparations, biostimulants and foliar fertilizers in production of field crops (wheat, barley, oilseed rape, corn, beet) and vegetables (carrot, onion).
