The article is well written and the analysis seems thorough. Although the sample size is small and the subjects were likely representative of people most severely affected by addictions, this is the group for whom new and more effective treatments are needed and for whom more effective prevention is indicated. This research addresses an issue in addictions medicine which is challenging to those working in the field. The analysis is quite thorough and creates a methodology for similar types of analysis in the future.
