Biohazards within these facilities encompass biological agents, chemicals, and physical hazards, each presenting unique risks to personnel and the environment. The regulatory landscape governing laboratory safety is constantly evolving, necessitating ongoing compliance and adaptation. By examining best practices, safety guidelines, and real-world case studies, this article underscores the crucial importance of proactive biohazard management. It offers recommendations for enhancing safety measures, fostering a culture of awareness, and ensuring that biomedical research laboratories continue to serve as crucibles of discovery while prioritizing the health and well-being of all involved.
