Abstract

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) referred to as menopausal hormone therapy or postmenopausal hormone therapy which is a sort of hormone therapy wont to treat symptoms related to female menopause. These symptoms can include hot flashes, vaginal atrophy, accelerated skin aging, vaginal dryness, decreased muscle mass, sexual dysfunction, and bone loss. They’re in large part associated with the diminished levels of sex hormones that occur during menopause. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can help balance estrogenic and progesterone levels during or near menopause. There also are many other reasons why a doctor might prescribe supplementary sex hormones. HRT can help relieve sweating, hot flashes, and other symptoms of menopause. It also can reduce the danger of osteoporosis. Some sorts of HRT contain both progesterone and estrogen, while others contain only estrogen.
