Abstract

Tissue and bone engineering have emerged as revolutionary fields in regenerative medicine, offering innovative solutions for repairing or replacing damaged tissues and bones. Central to the success of tissue engineering approaches is the development of novel biomaterials capable of mimicking the complex microenvironment of native tissues and promoting cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation. Recent developments in biomaterial science have led to the emergence of novel materials with unique properties and functionalities tailored for tissue and bone regeneration. These biomaterials encompass a wide range of natural, synthetic, and hybrid materials, each offering specific advantages in terms of biocompatibility, mechanical properties, degradation kinetics, and bioactivity. This abstract provides anoverview of recent advancements in novel biomaterials for tissue and bone engineering applications.
