Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) is an elected government possessed and worked Nigerian college. The college is in the old city of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. The college was established in 1961 and classes initiated in October 1962. The University began with five workforces Agriculture, Arts, Economics and Social Studies (now Social Sciences), Law and Sciences. Eight different personnel have subsequent to been included, to be specific the Faculties, of Education created on 1 October 1967), the Faculty of Pharmacy (made on 1 October 1970), the Faculty of Administration which replaces the previous establishment of Administration (with impact from 1 October 1979) and the Faculty of Environmental Design and Management (built in April 1982). The Faculty of Health Science (secured on 1 October 1970) is presently a school, made up of three staffs, specifically the Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences. Ife began the first Faculty of Pharmacy in West Africa, the first Department of Chemical Engineering and the first Electronics part notwithstanding Electrical Engineering. Its therapeutic school began with an incorporated educational program and group introduction before door to the clinical school, however this was later ejected.
